Properzio 1 is a wine store made from a medieval cellar restructured in 1994, with operations designed to bring out the originality of the environment that has always been used for processing of wine.

L’enotecawhose name comes from a Latin poet born in Spello, is characterized by Miocene architecture: ancient presses, arches and vaulted ceilings that make the venue of its kind. A prestigious and welcoming place to spend pleasant moments where wine, in its many facets, is the undisputed star.

Properzio 1 is located in the picturesque Spello, a village located about 10 km from Assisi on the road ranging from Foligno to Perugia. The city lies on the southern slopes of Mount Subasio and appears as a cluster of ancient white and red stone obtained from the mountain itself, surrounded by a mantle of olive groves. Founded by Umbro-Etruscanpeople, Spello gained importance in the Augustan period, enriching itself by splendid monuments that still can be seen today.
